Third day in London area and the novel coronavirus still seems to be mostly an Italian crisis. Guess it was good to visit Tate Modern before the UK government encouraged non-essential businesses to shut down.
I’ve probably been to London at least half dozen times and recall being at Tate Modern only once. I think there was an Alice Aycock sculpture installation - she was one of my fave when I was getting my BFA.
I thought Tate charged $$$, but it is totally free (except special exhibitions). Yes, that’s how art should be!
What makes the Tate experience even nicer is the building’s location. Situated by the Millennium Bridge, on the southside of river Thames, you can get a panoramic views of the city from the museum’s upper level.
