It’s A Damn Good Day to Make… Doberge Cake!
Today just so happens to be MY Birthday which means I should only be having the birthday cake of New Orleans – a #DobergeCake! Gambino’s, Haydel’s, and probably every bakery in the city offers their take on the stacked 9 layer cake, with the most important option being the half and half, a Doberge with a lemon-chocolate split personality – literally, a lemon-filled and iced cake on one side, a chocolate filled and iced cake on the other. #YUM
